Mail Order Tunes
Mail order tunes are done with a bench harness, laptop, HPTuners interface, and a 12vdc power supply. Mail order tunes are for mostly bolt-ons cars including nitrous and small cams or for more serious setups with larger injectors are typically used to get the vehicle into good enough shape to be able to drive it around and get it broken in for dyno or WOT tuning. Mail order tunes are not a substitute for dyno tuning with radical setups. If you are bringing the car back to us for dyno tuning, you may deduct 80% of the mail order tune price from the cost of a full tune! Mail order tunes (no street/dyno tuning) consist of (this is general, the tune will be more specific):
Rear O2, AIR & EGR delete
Fan temp adjustment
Speedo recal for different rear end gear ratio
Remove CAGS (if M6)
Auto tranny tuning including adjustment to shift speed and firmness, torque reduction stepped down, shift-point change, changes for stall converters
New spark/timing maps
Light WOT fueling adjustment
Throttle cracker adjustment and MORE!
